The Little Engines 0-4-0 Tanker is the least expensive steam locomotive we offer in one inch scale. Hundreds of these little locomotives have been built over the last sixty years by young and old alike. It is a fully detailed model that is an excellent performer and is available both as a side tank locomotive as illustrated and as a switcher built with a tender.

Since the engineer must ride on some sort of car, a tender is popular since it serves as a larger source of water and fuel. However, our flatcar, gondola or box car will serve equally well as the engineer's riding car.
