The 1.5" scale Commonwealth tender truck, standard equipment with our New Northern, is a fine reproduction of the six-wheel original and may be used with any of our larger tenders.  The castings may be ordered in either cast iron or aluminum.

Our 1.5" Scale six-wheel Buckey tender truck, standard equipment on the Old Northern, is a rugged well-designed sealed-bearing truck which will give years of trouble-free service.  Our castings are available in either cast iron or aluminum.

TRUCK #1  is a modern steam-era ball bearing truck having four double-row, self-aligning ball bearings.  The heavy castings and components result is very durable trucks capable of years of heavy use.

TRUCK #2  Although not pictured here, our 1.5" scale Andrews Trucks have separate journal boxes and bronze bearings.  As with all our trucks, the wheels are cast iron ensuring years of low maintenance use.  Our standard castings are poured  from aluminum but bronze is available as an extra option.  Trucks of this variety were commonly seen on early to mid-20th century equipment.

TRUCK #3  This truck, with bronze bearings, is representative of a mid to late 1800's type car truck and is used on our American and Mogul tenders.  Castings are standard in aluminum but are available in bronze at extra cost.
