This 1" Scale Commonwealth truck is a fine reproduction of the six-wheel original and may be used with either our Atlantic or Pacific Tenders. Our supplier is justifiably proud of the workmanship shown in the castings. The machined Commonwealth truck kit is completely machined and partially assembled needing only to be bolted together for final assembly. Please note that we will not sell drawings separate from a complete rough or machined Commonwealth truck set of castings. Available at this time in 4.75 Inch Gauge and as a complete set only. |

The clean modern-look design, in addition to the robust castings and sealed self-aligning ball bearings, makes this an attractive, durable riding car truck capable of years of heavy, high-volume freight use. Our standard castings are poured in aluminum but cast iron is available as an option at no additional cost in rough kits only. |

This truck, as illustrated above, is an Andrews type with bottom tie bars and bronze bearings designed with heavy loads and frequent use in mind. Fully detailed with working journal box lids, these trucks are standard equipment on all our 1 inch tenders. All castings used in these trucks are poured aluminum except for the wheels which are cast iron. Even though our trucks are in one inch scale, your passengers are not. So we include extra heavy duty springs to distribute to full-size load and prevent derailing. |

Although not illustrated here but having the same appearance as the one inch scale heavy trucks, Little Engines economy Andrews-type riding car trucks are simple and inexpensive. These trucks will hold up to years of average use with minimal maintenance. |
